Last Thursday we decided to get out of town for lunch. So we packed up the car and headed west and had a little picnic. It started raining at the very end of our short hike and we made it home in time for naps. I think we both realize that we need to spend more time in these mountains. It's great to be able to look at them everyday, but it is so relaxing to actually be there. I still can't believe we live in Colorado.

i wish we lived closer to actual mountains. also, your children look very squirmy! i'm glad i'm not the only one with little squirrels for offspring!
